Head of Digital Solutions

We are looking for a Head of Digital Solutions to lead our eCommerce & Web projects team within the eCommerce & Web Service Unit. At Valve, we deliver outstanding digital solutions for our clients in the form of websites, online stores, web applications, and complex integration projects, managing a diverse portfolio of digital services for our clients across WordPress, WooCommerce, and our own Wake platform.

What are we looking for from you?

For this role, we are seeking a leader who can take ownership of complex digital projects, ensure effective, smooth delivery, and foster client relationships. You will also help the sales team build offers and attend sales meetings.

In addition, a successful Head of Digital Solutions demonstrates strong technical leadership abilities, excels at architectural decision-making, and can adapt to changing technical requirements while maintaining team motivation and effectiveness. You'll work collaboratively with developers, designers, project managers and customer service teams within the eCommerce & Web Service Unit to deliver innovative digital solutions.

Responsibilities

• Leading digital project teams across websites, e-commerce, apps, and integrations
• Setting and monitoring development quality and delivery targets
• Optimizing development processes and technical workflows
• Strategic planning and technical direction setting
• Identifying and pursuing enhancement opportunities with existing solutions
• Improving clients' digital platform architecture
• Coordinating technical resources across multiple projects
• Overseeing effective delivery of digital solutions
• Contributing to continuous improvement of development practices
• Managing and developing technical staff performance

• Experience in managing development teams
• Strong understanding of modern web technologies and e-commerce platforms
